On December 8, 2021, the Second Member Congress of the Sixth China Construction Machinery Industry Association was held in the form of "online + offline", and the offline venue was set up in Beijing. Dear member representatives and colleagues in the industry, good morning everyone!

Invited by the 6th Council of the Association and the Secretariat, as a veteran industry comrade, I would like to talk about my opinions and suggestions on the development of the industry and the construction of the association:

(1) Industry situation

The upcoming 2021 is a year of changeable circumstances. Due to the frequent occurrence of the new crown epidemic and the increase in the prices of raw materials, steel, coal and other commodities, especially during the third and fourth quarters, the power curtailment measures will affect the construction machinery industry. Of small and medium-sized enterprises have caused greater difficulties. Under this circumstance, colleagues in the industry worked together to overcome the difficulties, completed the task well and achieved good results. According to the association's statistics, from January to October 2021, the 12 enterprise groups that the association has contacted have achieved sales revenue of more than 480 billion yuan. According to the analysis of the association's statistical data over the years, the sales revenue of 12 enterprise groups accounted for more than 50% of the industry's annual sales revenue. From this, it can be predicted that the construction machinery marketing revenue will exceed 800 billion yuan in 2021.

In 2022, the international environment will remain complex and severe, and the domestic epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development tasks will still be arduous and arduous. The construction machinery industry will face a more severe test. It is recommended that industry colleagues increase the intensity of both domestic and foreign markets to ensure that enterprises Healthy and sustainable development.

While my country's construction machinery industry is developing rapidly, there are also potential risks. Some industry enterprises did not work hard on product quality, innovation, and customer service, but blindly pursue market share, and use disorderly price competition as the only means of market competition, which seriously affects the healthy and sustainable development of the construction machinery industry market. It is recommended that industry colleagues pay close attention to industry risks and resolutely oppose price competition as a marketing tool to win the market. It is hoped that enterprises in the industry should take a long-term perspective, live within their means, ensure reasonable profit margins, avoid price wars, create a good market environment, strictly control risks, and jointly promote the healthy, sustainable and healthy development of the industry.

(2) Association construction

Since the re-election of the sixth council of the Association on November 21, 2021, certain achievements have been made in group standards, training work, statistical work, credit rating evaluation, member services and other aspects, and considerable progress has been made.

But at the same time, the development of the association also faces some difficulties. At present, there are more than 2500 registered member units of the association, of which more than 1,500 are closely connected, but only 720 have actually paid their membership fees this year. As of December 7, 2021, the membership fee payment rate of the association's vice president units is 100%; the membership fee payment rate of the standing director units is 88.5%. The contribution rate of the governing units is 78.5%. Some ordinary member units are not active in paying dues. According to the association's articles of association, member companies that have not paid dues for two years will automatically be deemed to withdraw. I hope that for the development of the industry, you will support the work of the 6th Council of the Association and the Secretariat, actively pay membership dues, and use practical actions to support the development of the Association and the industry.

At the same time, I also hope that the secretariat of the association will do the work of the association in a more standardized manner with the existing achievements, and work together with all industry colleagues to strive for the high-quality development of the industry and the construction of a first-class association.

(3) The 16th BICES Exhibition

2021 is about to pass. The 16th China International Construction Machinery, Building Materials Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Technology Exchange Conference (referred to as the 16th BICES) sponsored by the Association this year has been affected by the new crown epidemic twice. The postponement caused some confusion to exhibitors and users. In order to meet the needs of exhibitors, user audiences, news media and all walks of life, the BICES exhibition's unique industry leadership, high-end display, production and demand docking, and regional presentation characteristics of the exhibition will be fully utilized to promote technical exchanges, market expansion and brand enhancement of industry enterprises. , The organizer decided to hold the 16th BICES at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Tianjin) from March 24 to 27, 2022. Various activities of the sponsors, branches and cooperative units of the association will also be held in Tianjin at the same time. It is hoped that enterprises in the industry will actively participate in and support the 16th BICES exhibition and display their brand-new products, high-tech and high-quality products, so as to enhance their brand influence.
